DR. MARTENS AT AFROPUNK LONDON 2017
Dr. Martens joined forces with global music and arts festival, Afropunk, for the second time at London in Printworks. Originating in Brooklyn, Afropunk celebrates music, film, skate, and the value of individuals. With Lianne La Havas headlining, as well as performances from The Internet, JME, NAO, Corraine Bailey Rae, and Willow Smith, Afropunk promised an electric line-up and diverse scene.
We were on hand on the day, hosting a range of intimate sets on our secret stage with artists such as Kojey Radical, Nova Twins, Mahalia and more performing. This was alongside our DM’s Photobooth van, and photographer who caught your best Doc’s streetstyle throughout the weekend. Catch our best bits below…
You guys came to visit our DM’s Photobooth…

Day 1 hosted a range of artists, including Liam Bailey, The Bots and Kojey Radical.
Those who found the door to our secret stage were in for a treat.
Post-punk duo Nova Twins were the first to take the stage on Day 2.
Followed by an acoustic performance from singer/songwriter Mahalia.
and Brooklyn based Kiah Victoria closed the stage with whole lotta soul.
