Friends of the Dr. Martens family Confetti Crowd (AKA the internet’s coolest girl gang), are a colourful bunch. That’s why we knew they were the only people to style our new Daze collection. The trippy Daze pack brings the rave culture of the late 80s right into modern day. Taking the best of the scene – neon and florescent colours, psychedelic prints and clashing patterns – we’ve splashed them over classic Dr. Martens styles. The chunky Jadon boot, Smith and Polley shoes, plus, accessories. Read on to see how the Confetti’s have styled their Daze shoes, boots and bags and a to read our interview with Confetti member Lulu…

What do you think of the Daze collection?

I love that Dr. Martens is bringing out more and more colourful collections every year. I adore the funky print and I love that you’ve put it on a chunky sole – the Jadon boot is my no.1 style of DM’s.

I always get asked “so what are you so dressed up for?” and I’m like “just life!”

What is it about colourful dressing that you love?
Dressing in colourful clothing instantly makes me feel happier. Seeing other people’s reactions to my outfits also makes me smile as it often spreads joy to someone else’s day too. I always get asked “so what are you so dressed up for?” and I’m like “just life!”

Do you have any tips for starting a ‘girl gang’?
I wouldn’t say there’s any set rules, but if you fall in love with a group of girls who just ‘get you’, who you can see all the time and never get bored of, and whose outfits always compliment yours, then you’ve got yourself the perfect girl gang.
