DERBY STORE OPENING: SLAVES IN-STORE SIGNING & GIG
To celebrate the opening of our Dr. Martens Derby store last week, we teamed up with Kent punk duo Slaves to play an intimate show at The Hairy Dog in Derby to fans who won tickets through our giveaway. Local acts The Reverends and Bear Chest opened the show in association with the Joe Strummer Foundation. Slaves met with fans in the day at the Dr. Martens Derby store for an in-storing signing. The gig descended into hysteria with Slaves playing ‘Cheer Up London’ and ending the set with ‘The Hunter’ where guitarist Laurie Vincent crowd-surfed. Thanks to all who attended. Check out the highlights from the event and follow Dr. Martens on Snapchat: drmartens for live action and footage from our events and gigs.
