Dr. Martens x Clash Present: First Look
Dr. Martens proudly presents First Look. Throughout this new series we’ll partner with leaders in music, fashion and culture to present intimate gigs from the hottest emerging acts. For the launch of First Look we’ve teamed up with multi-award-winning music and fashion magazine, Clash. And they’ve handpicked the best up-and-coming artists on the scene.
Join us on 13th September to experience new music from the likes of Etta Bond and Manga Saint Hilare.
About Etta Bond:
Etta Bond isn’t interested in the ordinary. The Cambridge-born, London-living singer isn’t trying to sit down and fit in. Making her music as much about feminist expression as creative gratification, Bond is opinionated, forceful and has a point to make – artistically and politically.
About Manga Saint Hilare:
Manga Saint Hilare is a grime artist from London. Handpicked by the godfather of grime, Wiley, to join the legendary Rolldeep crew in 2004, his fast-paced, skippy MC style helped him to stand out from the crowd and win the praise of early grime fans. His 2017 release ‘Outbursts From The Outskirts’ was hailed by many as his best work yet and is widely considered to be one of the top grime albums of the year.
