DR. MARTENS DOES FASHION WEEK

Creative individuals of all stripes use Dr. Martens as a blank canvas for self-expression. Fashion designers are no different. Once again, our presence was felt on the catwalks all over the world this season, from Paris to New York and every runway step in between.

Not wanting to miss out on the AW19 action, we had a few photographers on hand to capture the shows. Spot the Docs.

At Docs we love seeing style done differently. So seeing how contemporary fashion label Shrimps paired silks and checks with socks and Docs sandals gets a big nod from us.

From the 1461 to the 2976, Shrimps debut catwalk show saw models take to the runway in our vegan styles, with our yellow stitch proving the perfect match to the striking palette.

Over at No Sesso, the 1461 Rainbow Patent Platform brought the designer’s inclusive, non-conforming look to life.

The Mono 1461 in white popped against Snow Xue Gao‘s colorful prints.

And finally, the Geraldo and Gryphon in Brando paired perfectly with the South African high fashion of Lukhanyo Mdingi.
