The streets of New York are always a source of sartorial inspiration — and NYFW is when the fashion goes into overdrive. Each season we identify the most relevant and exciting design talent to work with. Letting them use Dr. Martens footwear to express their artistic vision and add some of that Doc’s attitude to their shows. For NYFW FW18 we worked with P.L.C. NY, Woodhouse, Panda Diplomacy, N-P-Elliot, Chromat and Maiden Noir – all pioneering design houses with a unique take on fashion. Keep scrolling for exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and a first-look at the trends we’ll be seeing next season…

P.L.C. New York

The Dante Brando and Talib Brando were incorporated into the presentation.

Models also wore the 1460 Smooth2976 Yellow Stitch, and Rakim Ajax.

Panda Diplomacy

The Jadon and Gryphon Brando were customized with text and striped laces.

N-p-Elliott kept it clean with black and white Mono 1460s.

Bold yellow and blue laces were used to customize the Jagger.

Maiden Noir

The Adrian Smooth, 1461 Smooth, and 1461 Carpathian seamlessly fit into the soft-hued collection.
The Iced Metallic 1461 paired perfectly with this look’s iridescent shine.
