The Brand

At Dr. Martens, we love Pride Month — it’s a chance to honor everything we stand for, like diversity, empowerment and rebellious self-expression.  This year, the US kicked it up a notch with two special 2017 Pride boots supporting the Trevor Project, and then stores across the country celebrated their Pride parade weekends with parties, drag shows, shoe customization events, murals and more. Don’t have a Doc’s store in your town? Never fear; here’s some pics for you to love.

Portland knocked it out of the park with a drag show hosted by Carla Rossi.

Lola Buzzkill got the party started.

It got pretty sweaty up in there.

Drivers on Burnside Street got treated to a mural by Omar Flores.

These dudes kept it rock-n-roll in Chicago

…while Speck Osterhaut from Tattoo Candy rocked customization with some alien abduction Doc’s.

For Seattle’s Pride party, Mona Real reigned supreme, customizing while serving acid-washed realness.

Illustrator Alejandra Arenas went for classic rainbows-and-love vibes on SF’s Haight Street.

Which made for a stellar #Docsandsocks pairing.

Meanwhile, back in Philly, Maggie Wren turned our store window into a canvas for her art…

…and showed off her adorably subtle custom designs.

Dianne Hebbert brought her unique portraiture style to our Herald Square store in NYC.

We loved the watercolor-inspired landscape mural at our New York – Union Square store.

And that’s a wrap for Pride 2017! A big thank you to all the artists and performers who helped us make this happen — your individuality and rebellious self-expression made each Dr. Martens store truly unique. See you next year.
