Since it started in the 90s, Rebellion has been a magnet for punks all over the world, drawing incredible acts and committed fans alike. On the first weekend in August, we headed down to Blackpool for a concentrated dose of non-stop punk action at this independent festival. Over four days, music blared, crowds surged and the atmosphere was, well, rebellious.
We were there to check out all the street-style (a lot of leather, mohawks and Docs) and give out a few perks in the Dr. Martens stall. We teamed up with barbers to offer free haircuts and brought tattoo artist Christ Lambert along for the ride to customise festival-goers boots.
What a weekend.
We were on hand to help keep the mohawks up and the facial hair groomed.
Whilst you guy’s showed us some of your best Doc’s streetstyle…
…from tartan to studs to vintage DM’s, you guys embodied our #WORNDIFFERENT ethos.
Meanwhile we brought tattoo artist Chris Lambert ( 1 of 3 artists from our Tattoo Collection) along, offering free customisation.
Big or small, Rebellion brought music lovers and Docs wearers out in full force.
Tattoos, socks and laces, each Doc wearer put their own spin on our classic styles.
Not forgetting all the Double Docs we spotted…
You guys showed up and rocked.
Until next time, Rebellion!
