DR. MARTENS X PAQ
Kyra TV is the modern, youth-led network taking the internet by storm. Their most popular show, PAQ, is the leading men’s fashion show online. It talks about clothes for guys in a tongue-in-cheek, down-to-earth kind of way, demystifying what it means to be stylish today. PAQ centres around four friends experimenting with streetwear looks and inspiring young people to feel confident in their own skin.
In a special, Dr. Martens-focused episode, (aptly named ‘Slide into my DMs’) the guys will be challenged to create an outfit from their Docs upwards. Each of the looks will nod to Dr. Martens’ iconic heritage of music and subcultures. And recording artist – and Boot Room alumna Etta Bond – will be tasked with judging the best outfit.
The PAQ cast:
Elias – This full-time model describes his style as what he imagines ‘a 90s astronaut would wear off duty’. He mixes futuristic jackets and sunglasses with vintage streetwear labels. Elias wears personalised Docs from our Camden store.
Danny – A skater and streetwear kid, Danny is Gen Z’s answer to 60s Mod culture. His style is underpinned by British heritage brands. Danny wears our Vegan 1460 boots.
Shaq – The quintessential art student, Shaq’s whole aesthetic is a direct reflection of his creative personality: baggy, vintage and often hand-customised. Shaq wears our 1461 Ghillie shoe.
Dex – A talented musician who takes influence from a unique combination of old school hip-hop and goth culture, Dex is often seen rocking loose-fitting black clothes with gothic lettering and graphics. Dex wears the 1914 Smooth boot.
