HERE’S HOW THE FEBRUARY DR. MARTENS PRESENTS SHOWS WENT DOWN

The month of February might be a short one, but that didn’t slow down the Dr. Martens Presents series. Out in Brooklyn, in spite of it being a typical February night — a beautiful wintry mix of rain and snow — fans came out in droves to Baby’s All Right for a night with Horse Jumper of Love, Field Medic and Slow Pulp. Meanwhile in LA, we spent Valentine’s partying at the Hi Hat with an all-female lineup: Kate Clover, Minke and headliner Jesse Jo Stark. Keep reading for highlights from each show – and don’t forget to RSVP now for our March series.

The line at the Hi Hat in LA reached down the block — proof that our show was pretty much the perfect Valentine’s event.

Kate Clover of ExSage kicked off the night with her signature punk attitude and cool-girl vibes.

Like we said…punk attitude.

Next up was Minke, who enchanted us with her set of melodic, catchy and empowering songs.

Then, Jesse Jo Stark took over the stage and slayed the stage with pure rock ‘n’ roll …

Alongside some some serious looks.

Like a flawless Docs-and-Socs combo, with sheer polka dots against our 1461 Rainbow Patent Platform.

Meanwhile, in Brooklyn, the scene at Baby’s All Right was cosy and packed, with a showcase of three diverse sets.

The Madison, WI-based Slow Pulp kicked off the night with their dreamy, psychedelic pop.

The Slow Pulp vibe pairs perfectly with the 1460 Rainbow Patent.

Horse Jumper of Love came down from Boston with their patented “slow rock” — an intense yet mellow sound.

Finally, Field Medic brought the night to a close with his meditative and sweet freak folk.

And that’s a wrap for February Dr. Martens Presents. And March is on the way — so RSVP here.
