Showcasing the very best indie talent on the scene, Pitchfork Paris is one of those special festivals where the city itself becomes both stage and headline act. Known for its energetic crowd, varied line-up and effortlessly cool ambience, Pitchfork has firmly established itself as an unmissable gem on the annual music calendar.
It took place this year over the first weekend in November and Dr. Martens was there in force. We went to soak up the atmosphere, see the likes of Blood Orange, Bon Iver, Chromeo and Chvrches play live and of course, offer Docs footwear lovers something extra.
Using the same shipping container that’s accompanied us on our full festival circuit this year, we set up a stand offering free Dr. Martens’ customisation by Steph D. from Octopus Tatouage and free haircuts or beard trims by Alex Haircuts Barbershop.

We kicked things off with our Dr. Martens stand…
…with plenty of Docs fans stopping by for a free haircut.
And of course, a turn in our photobooth.
Our customisation artist Steph created some seriously good customisation on Docs.
Arguably one of the best parts of the festival? Seeing the unique #drmartensstyle of Docs fans.
We caught up with the live music from various venues…
…and spotted Blood Orange backstage in their Docs.
Until next time Pitchfork.
