If the first two Dr. Martens Presents shows of the year are any indication, 2019 is going to rock. Literally. We kicked it off with an epic night at the Echo in L.A., featuring the prolific multi-instrumentalist SASAMI, supported by Rebecca Schiffman and Slut Island. Meanwhile, over at the east coast home of Dr. Martens Presents — Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, NYC — our show series continued in January with an eclectic performance from three up-and-comers: Mara Conner, CLAVVS and TEEN. Both nights were packed, with high-energy sets matched by an equally spirited crowd. Keep scrolling for photos, and don’t forget: February shows are coming in hot — so RSVP now.

Rebecca Schiffman kicked off our L.A. show with her upbeat indie rock, reminiscent of Belle & Sebastian.

The special guest of the evening? That would be Slut Island, bringing their typical fun-lovin’ vibes to the stage.

SASAMI closed out the show with her magical, witchy tunes, proving why there was a line down the block all night long.

Of course, it could have been her bassist’s sick Docs-n-socks combo.

It was definitely a scene — see for yourself (featuring SASAMI’S track Not this Time).

Meanwhile, back in Brooklyn, Baby’s All Right had a packed house with an easygoing, happy crowd.

Mara Connor brought her sweet singer-songwriter vibes — and let us know it was her first time playing in NYC.

The duo CLAVVS shifted the mood with their signature electronic music (and a pair of Leonas in bone).

TEEN capped off the night, debuting a number of tracks from their upcoming album: Good Fruit.

The electronic vibes were strong during TEEN’s set — here’s a little snippet:

That wraps it up for January. Next time, you should be there — get the details and RSVP here for our upcoming (FREE) February shows.
