LOOKING BACK: 2019 DR. MARTENS PRESENTS TOUR

Deep in the middle of gifting season, we are busy wrapping up one thing: our 2019 series of Dr. Martens Presents shows. From East Coast to West Coast, music fans came out in force to rooftops, art galleries, and our very own retail stores. And they definitely didn’t leave their Docs at home. Before we go boldly into the new year, let’s take a moment to take a look back at the final set of highlights from the shows that sum up the Dr. Martens spirit — authentic, brash, and independent.

Samia kicked things off this fall with a set exploding with energy (and acrobatics).

Even on the crowded rooftop of Our Wicked Lady, this styling of the Blake II caught our eye.

Our NY Smith Street stockroom doubled as a warm-up space for musician Claud.

Then we took it to the West Coast, where rapper Dave B turned our Seattle store into a dancefloor for his dedicated fans.

NY natives Sunflower Bean brought their hypnotizing, rock and roll sound to our Union Square store.

This may be the first case of crowd-surfing in a Dr. Martens store (congrats Union Square!) Knowing our crowds, it won’t be the last.

Multimedia artist and rapper RaFia finished out her self-constructed costume with Docs before opening for headliner Junglepussy.

Junglepussy celebrated her birthday with a lineup of killer female talent in front of a packed out show.

De’Wayne Jackson brought the fire (and the plaid) to his set at Superchief Gallery in LA.

L.A. Witch was ready to make magic at Gold Diggers with their haunting, nostalgic sound.

Sade Sanchez of LA Witch casts a spell over the at-capacity crowd.
