We recently partnered up with GAFFER, an online and in-print publication that bridges the gap between football, music, fashion and culture, to chat with Ivan Toney, Premier League footballer whose roots began in Northampton, the hometown of our famous Made In England Factory.
Dr. Martens has had a long-standing history with football having sponsored West Ham from 1998 to 2003, and funding an expansion of the club’s former home, Upton Park, which at the time was the largest stadium grandstand in London.
It’s this community spirit that connects both DM’s and Ivan Toney, his rebellious and fearless nature are deeply rooted in the community spirit of Northampton.
